All of Summer's jello attention that week had been poured into plans for Pride, which meant when it came to making shots that morning, she had absolutely no plans. Which meant it was probably time to clean out her honestly very impressive liquor cabinet(s) and do a little belated spring cleaning and throwing together something based on what she had a little of or hadn't touched in a while or honestly stuff she'd been meaning to use but hadn't gotten around to it yet.

Sorry, everyone who liked the themes! But Totally Random could be a theme, too, right? And there was a decent amount of space booze in there, too.

Summer had a lot of space booze. And a lot of flavored whiskey, apparently.

Goose had no problems with totally random as a theme, he just liked being able to drink shots so he was back at the bar as normal this week and took up his usual seat.

“Evening Summer,” he said with a smile as he looked over the specials, “is there actual grass in that grass shot?” he couldn’t help but wonder.

"It's a grass flavored jello I had lying around," Summer explained, "plus, like, some herbs," not that kind, sorry, "and stuff? I'm pretty sure it's legit edible and fine."

And, with that encouraging review, she was setting that one down for Goose first, followed by a neat little line of all the others because, come on. We all knew what was going to happen there.

“I mean I would have had the shot even if was made of grass,” Goose said with a grin as he picked up that first shot because he was definitely intrigued after that review.

“I’ve been pretty good, just been busy with classes really and for some reason the Shenangians seem to be a weekly thing as well,” he admitted and he downed the grass shot and grinned, “okay I definitely liked that,” even though was there really any doubt about that, “how about you?” he asked once he put the empty shot glass down and went to pick up the next one.

Summer shrugged a little. "Nothing too exciting to report, I guess," she said. "I've been mostly trying to work on a good jello menu for Pride coming up; I should probably poke at Steph to see what else she might need help with, since I can pretty much plan parties in my sleep by now. It's also taking place on my birthday, so I have to figure out what I can do with that. I was thinking I was going to hold a giant rager in some castle that Lucifer said I can borrow sometime, but I might just save that for another time that's not conflicting with something like Pride, you know?"

“Pride?” Goose tilted his head slightly, he had seen the posters around town on his morning run but he still wasn’t entirely sure what it was about, “is that like a party?”

Liz hadn’t heard from Prompto since yesterday and she was starting to get worried, training had actually gone rather well hopefully since the thread is still being played and it had been able to keep her distracted for a while, especially after telling Steven everything about her powers but then the evening had come and gone and there had been no check in text from Prompto.

“Hi Summer,” Liz said, trying to not sound so worried as she took a seat at the bar, “can I have a beer to start with please?” She wasn’t sure if she was feeling up to jello shots tonight.

"Sure!" See? Summer could totally just allow people to not do all the shots, too! Especially when they threw in a 'to start.' That showed promise and an openness that she could respect. "Standard generic, or did you want to go with something a little more specific?"

Liz considered the options, she was going to go with the standard but then thought maybe she could try something different, "I think I might go with something more specific," she said, "What would you recommend?"

"Hmmmm," Summer took a moment to consider Liz, head tilting, "well...I always like to pull from local stuff in situations like this, and I have a few ideas, but tell me this: are you lookin for something lighter, or something heavier, do you think?"

Liz bit her lip as she considered, she knew she should probably take it easy tonight but she was still worried about Prompto, "I think I'll start with some thing lighter first," she decided and then hesitated, "have you heard from Prompto recently?" maybe it wouldn't hurt to see if he had contacted anyone else and she had nothing to worry about.

Stark was probably legally required to try that jello shot since it was his fault it existed.

"Hello, Stark," Summer replied back with the sort of smile that seemed to suggest he should have known exactly what was coming with her response, which was:

"And you should do both. Obviously. Little...razlak bookends to your epic jello shot journey."

In fact, she was already taking two of them and setting them on the bar, with a good deal of distance between them to suggest that they were clearly going to have to fill up that space with the other shots, too.

"No grass," Stark said quickly. It didn't matter if it didn't taste like grass. He was never going to know because he wasn't going to order it.

"But I could have two. I'm sure I'll like them. What goes in between then? Peanut butter I like."

And even though Summer had expected the grass exclusion, it really was a good thing Stark had said it, because if he hadn't, she was definitely going to make that one the center piece. "The apple one is good, too," she offered, placing the peanut butter and that one between the two razlak ones, "and they work well together."

And also probably more along Stark's tastes than the arrack or the Red Bull.

Vodka and Red Bull wasn't exactly a Stark drink but maybe on another day it might be. Or another sleepless week.

"Four seems like a good number then," he says, nodding as he picked up the first shot. "Thank you. Are you recovered from Anakin's activities?"

"Well," said Summer, proudly, already lining them up, "lucky for you, I just so happen to have many of my shots."

And then she tilted a gauging look at him before asking, "And how are we doing on this fine evening, Mr. Morningstar?"

It felt slightly less direct than asking if this was a normal collapse-and-request-for-shots or something more...inspired. It was usually a pretty fifty-fifty toss-up with this one, she felt.

He didn't look up at her. He just swiped the first shot off the bar and downed it.

And also, "Have you tried just drugs?"

Yes, she knew who she was talking to, so...probably, but also, from where she stood, it was looking like, you know, frequent vacations to amazing places, whole ass boats and places to put boats, food, time, and energy were...apparently not working for him, so that didn't seem to leave a whole lot of other things she could offer that he probably hadn't already tried.

"That always works for me," she added, helpfully, "also blowing things up. Weapons? An island? I'm still holding out for Barry to buy me an island one of these days, but he's still not biting onthat one. Maybe he's building up to a whole planet, but, honestly, even just a planetoid was, like, a lot of work, so I really hope not. An island's just about perfect, I think. Also, I am so not helpful in this, I am so easy please, all you have to do is pretty much tell me my hair looks cute and I'm, like, putty in someone's hands."

"And I had to promise Duke not to buy him any other places. And Octavia is particular about her weapons. I haven't tried explosions yet, but I'm not sure that's something she's into."

His life would definitely be easier in that department if he'd dated Summer instead, yes.

Where Summer will absolutely give you a free drink if you manage to hit a bulls-eye on the dart board while either riding the mechanical bull or twirling on the stripper pole.

Is that potentially dangerous? Yes. That's why it's a free drink!
