Drunk and Bored club, Saturday night on the beach
It had been a while since the club had met, but Marc had reminded Miguel about it, so he'd handwavily sent out messages to anyone who might be interested, then gathered up a case of decent beer and camped out on the beach.
The Drunk and Bored club was in session!
[If there's the slightest chance you've ever met Miguel, you got an invitation. If not, feel free to drop by anyway!]

even if her player will likely disappear. And of course she'd be providing the shitty beer and some whiskey to make up for it.

But he did score points for not actually speaking to her, so Rosa was willing to offer a lift of her chin in response.

He handed her a good one.

And Tightpants could even get a "Thanks" out of her when she took it, too.

And held out the bottle for him.
She thought about pulling it away when he reached for it, too, but D&B put her in a good mood, so she didn't.
This time.

Anyway point being that Marc was there on the beach now with the requested six pack of beer. After he'd changed into his own clothes, of course. He wasn't going to wear Steven's stuff if he didn't have to.
"Hey," he said to Miguel. Which was a warm greeting, coming from him.

Hey, Steven was asleep and Miguel had met Steven earlier. Far as Marc was concerned it was a segue.

Hey, if you couldn't wingman for the guy you shared a body with, who could you really?

Or, knowing Steven, plenty of opportunity that he'd been fricking oblivious to.

He pointed at Marc. "There's a woman just moved here. Or back here. Lana. She's teaching a class in working with people you hate." She'd Force-whammied him, not that he'd noticed. "Pretty, persuasive, strong. Seems nice enough."

Not that that was a bad thing.

Marc thought over the other recommendations. "Pretty sure shrink isn't going to be a preference for him anymore than it is me but I'll keep the others in mind."
For Marc that counted as saying "thank you."

Miguel snagged the can. "Thanks," he toasted in turn. "Welcome to Drunk and Bored club."
