The Magpie Emporium; Friday, 07/29.

Graham wasn't sure if it was just him or what, but he felt like there was something a little different in the air in the shop that day, one that made him feel a little sad and upset, though he didn't know why. It definitely made him feel like he should have brought Triumph in with him today; that guy could always cheer up a room! And Saffron didn't seem that interested in talking about it (Saffron, in general, did not seem very interested in Graham), but Little Bot seemed very encouraging and positive about the whole thing.

(He thought, anyway. He definitely was not fluent in Robot like he was in most varieties of Animal).

But he did know he wasn't going to let the strange mood affect his game night, so, instead of worrying about it too much, he threw himself into a little bit of prep and planning and some hopefully good things to throw at the group as their adventure continued!

The Magpie Emporium is open!

And Libby was pretty sure if she had her own bracelet to match her, it would definitely be a blushing pink right now, although whether or not she ducked her head out of sheepishness or just to try and hide the pleased, proud smile on her face was uncertain.

"You're welcome," she said. "I just thought it would be kind of nice if we all had some, you know?"

Or several, since she was apparently not the only one who'd had the idea, although she was pretty sure Graham had genuinely just wanted to make bracelets for everyone and hadn't just decided to do it because he wasn't sure if making just one bracelet for one person would be appropriate. And then wound up making bracelets even for crabs...

"Definitely. And this one is perfect, thank you." Kurt thought for a moment and then gave a sly grin to Libby. "Maybe we will find out whether or not this is a magical bracelet that Amenken found somewhere on his travels. Given to him by a mysterious woman in a market in some remote mountain village far away from here."

And look at him, getting into the game and being all imaginative and creative already!

And while that was doing nothing to calm down the red warming Libby's face right now, it also made her smile broaden eagerly. Because two could definitely play that game.

"Who maybe found it," she mused, "after some poor dragon farmer's daughter turned cleric tragically lost it one day when tending to her chores...It had just slipped right off when she was fetching water from the river, and the current just...washed it away, to parts unknown, surely to be never seen again!"

"Tragic really" Kurt said with a nod and a slight wink. "We will have to see if that poor cleric ever finds that bracelet of hers again!"

Sorry Graham... were sub story plots ok for the game?

Sub story plots were pretty much the best part of the game! Epic overarching themes and action? Pffft! It was in the sidelines and the margins that all the really good stuff happened!

Libby could only just grin at Kurt in response to that, at first, while she felt her heart in her chest do a little flip of excitement. "Who knows?" she finally said, shrugging her shoulders and trying to look mysterious about it, only it was pretty spoiled when you couldn't keep a less then enigmatic smile off your face. "I guess only time will tell!"
