Graham wasn't sure if it was just him or what, but he felt like there was something a little different in the air in the shop that day, one that made him feel a little sad and upset, though he didn't know why. It definitely made him feel like he should have brought Triumph in with him today; that guy could always cheer up a room! And Saffron didn't seem that interested in talking about it (Saffron, in general, did not seem very interested in Graham), but Little Bot seemed very encouraging and positive about the whole thing.

(He thought, anyway. He definitely was not fluent in Robot like he was in most varieties of Animal).

But he did know he wasn't going to let the strange mood affect his game night, so, instead of worrying about it too much, he threw himself into a little bit of prep and planning and some hopefully good things to throw at the group as their adventure continued!

Here for another week of exciting adventure with your overly enthusiastic teenaged game master? Then step right up, have a seat at Graham's table, and let's get the dice rolling!

Excessive amounts of snacks are not required....but you wouldn't know by looking at it!

There was a little bit of nervousness coming off of Libby as she approached the table, giving everyone there a little bit of a sheepish smile as she shifted her bag to reach inside. "I didn't bring any snacks tonight," she admitted, "since y'all seem to have that covered pretty well yourselves, but I did bring these for everyone."

Which was when she pulled out the beaded, braided wish bracelets from Arts & Crafts earlier in the week, and set to distributing them around.

She tried to think of good ones to match everyone, but she was starting to worry that her interpretations might have been a little too on-the-nose. The shiniest blue beads she could find for Kurt's, a maroonish-pink that she hoped was a good approximation of Vi's hair for hers. Guillermo got dark red (blood red) and black, which she picked because it made her think of vampire's cloaks, and for Jo's, she found little clear beads that, when you looked at them closely, you could see little flowers inside of them. And Graham, of course, had one with the red of his cloak and the blue of his cap.

Maybe it was a little silly, and they might think she was kind of silly for it, but she still felt very proud of them, all the same. And maybe a little overwhelmed with the realization that she'd even had five whole friends she could make bracelets for in the first place!

When Libby pulled out her bracelets and started handing them out, Graham had to laugh a little. "No way!" he said. "That's wild, because guess what!"

He reached into his cloak, a little more dramatically than completely necessary, and pulled out a fistful of bracelets of his own. "I ended up making bracelets for everyone, too!"

He grinned at Libby a little, picking out the one he'd made for her, which had gold and silvery beads on it.

"We haven't learned much about Esthrana yet," he noted, as he handed it over to her in exchange for his own, which he'd immediately start to admire, "but I had a feeling something bright and shiny would be pretty fitting for her!"

Libby had to laugh at that reveal, pleasantly surprised by the turn of events and taking her bracelet to admire it herself. "Oh," she gushed out, "it's perfect, Graham, thank you! A perfectly lovely. And I guess what they say is true: great minds think alike!"

Almost like they shared a brain in common, or something!

Kurt looked at the bracelet Libby handed and broke into a grin.

"Oh Libby, I love it! It looks amazing!" Kurt said as he took it and examined it closely for a moment before slipping it on. "Perfect addition to Amenken's collection of things he has picked up on his travels too" he added giving Libby a smile again. "Thank you!"

And Libby was pretty sure if she had her own bracelet to match her, it would definitely be a blushing pink right now, although whether or not she ducked her head out of sheepishness or just to try and hide the pleased, proud smile on her face was uncertain.

"You're welcome," she said. "I just thought it would be kind of nice if we all had some, you know?"

Or several, since she was apparently not the only one who'd had the idea, although she was pretty sure Graham had genuinely just wanted to make bracelets for everyone and hadn't just decided to do it because he wasn't sure if making just one bracelet for one person would be appropriate. And then wound up making bracelets even for crabs...

"Thanks, Libs," Vi told her, sincerely but with far less enthusiasm than she would've normally, but look, she wasn't moody for a whole ten seconds.

Considering how Vi had been throughout the week whenever Libby would have had a chance to notice, she wasn't really expecting too much of a response, and smiled faintly for what she did get. Nodded her head a little, and the smile went more encouraging.

"You're welcome, Vi," she said, sort of wishing she knew of maybe a better way to help than with sudden bracelets, but maybe it would be at least a good start.

Guillermo now had two vampire themed bracelets, so he was pretty excited about that this evening, "thank you Libby," he smiled brightly as he was handed his bracelet, "I love the colours," he added.

Jo now had been given two bracelets in one evening, she found herself going a bit red at the idea that she now had friends who would do things like make her bracelets in class.

She had never had that before, "thank you Libby," she smiled shyly as she looked at the bracelet Libby had made for her, "this is really nice,"

Vi, who just been the best person to hang around the last few days, had seriously considered just asking Libby to pass along her apologies and skipping, but that might have required talking about why she was so broody.

But while Vi was very ambivalent about being here, Saffron was quite clear about the fact Vi was never allowed to leave again, she'd been terribly neglected and deprived, oh woe was her, she needed snuggles and attention right now before she faded away.

Oh, but won't you please just think of that poor, deprived, clearly neglected cat, Vi?

But Graham, who was quite possibly incapable of feeling ambivalence about anything and very often had difficulty reading a room, much less any given individual, could only meet her with a bright and pleased grin.

"Hey, Vi!" he said. "I've got something for you!"

At which point he dug into his cloak to pull out a wish bracelet that had a sort of ombre-effect to the beads that gradually seemed to go from dark blue to a lighter sea blue, into a darkened yellow that progressed into a shade light like sand, his best approximation of the sea meeting the land, and he tossed it to her lightly when he felt she was ready for it to head her way.

"From Arts and Crafts class earlier this week!"

Kurt arrived on time- maybe even a little early- this time. And he came bearing gifts of bags of food.

"I know it looks like a lot" he said as he set the bags down. 'But there's a bag for each of us this time. I made Classic German Potatoes Casserole can its easier to do as self-contained dishes so.... there we go" he said, suddenly feeling a little unsure and worried he might have mis-guessed with his food choice that night.

"The more, the merrier!" Graham grinned at Kurt with a swish of his finger in the air. "That's what I always say! In food and in friends! It sounds great, though! You know what to do!"

Which, well, would normally be just adding it to the pile in the middle of the table, but since he said he'd done 'em all up individually, he supposed that would mean just distributing them out. Or still putting them in the middle and letting people grab them when they felt so inclined.

Either way, before he forgot or got too swept up in getting ready for the game, Graham wasted no more time before digging into his cloak and also presenting Kurt with a little braided bracelet, one that had various shades of grey in a gradient, starting with practically white all the way on over to nearly black.

"I come bearing trinkets!" he said. "Crafted in the finest of arts and crafts classes in all the land!"

As he had promised last week Guillermo had made plenty of plenty of empanadas , between the extra empanadas and the churros he was nearly running late after the mun fell asleep early but he did eventually make it.

It wasn't quite up to empanada throne levels, but they were making progress! And now maybe Graham could add a nice scepter of churros to all of his food-related royal accoutrements.

"Guillermo! Hey! You're just in time!" Not that he was particularly rigid about getting started with any particular punctuality, especially since half the fun was just shooting the breeze with the table before things really got going, but it would have been disappointing if it turned out Guillermo couldn't have made it.

Jo had her normal box of chocolates with her to share as she arrived for the evening, she was finding that she was rather looking forward to these sessions now that she was having more of an idea of what to do.

She had written to her father to see about getting different sweets sent over so she was hoping In a few weeks that she would have more to share soon.

"Hi, Jo!" Graham greeted her with bright encouragement and, admittedly, his eyes a bit bright with the prospect of those chocolates she'd been bringing. What could he say? He was a man very much moved by his stomach. "Are you ready for more adventure?"

Graham's Table: Gameplay - 07/29.

"And now," said Graham, grinning a little because he was pretty sure he was never going to get sick of slipping into Game Master mode, his eyes shining with excitement all over again as he lifted his hands to signal for everyone to settle. He paused, until he was sure he had managed to (mostly) captivate everyone's attention, "we continue with our tale in progress. When we left off last week, the restlessness of the crowd anticipating a performance from the one, the only ~Montague Silverchord~ was unexpectedly but appreciatively sated by the one, the only Wind Over Surf. Her musical stylings on the drums and impressive theatrics certainly won...most of the crowd over, even halting a sudden scuffle toward the back in the very middle of it.

"Or....did it?"

He couldn't keep the little speculative smirk off his face as he quirked a curious eyebrow around the table.

"Because there appears to be a man, frozen in place, his arm still drawn back in mid-punch, and there he remains like that, well after that first initial beat of Wind's drum. The person meant for that halted punch, however, seems to have slipped away through the awe-stricken and greatly entertained crowd, the familiarity of the tunes Wind is playing causing them to join in. Plenty of off-key voices and people with terrible rhythm, but they're doing their best, and clearly having a good time, and ideal situation for one to just....disappear into, right?

"Well," his grin broadened, "we'll just have to see about that! Amenken! You were about to try and see if you could spot the person and follow him, right? Go ahead and dooooo...." He considered for a moment. "A perception check."

Finally! He got to play with the dice!

Kurt grabbed his dice and found the 20 sided dice he needed to use and then took a deep breath and let it roll. When it came to a stop on the table Kurt gave a grin and then looked up at Graham.

"Rolled a 15. That's good right?"

"Well, it certainly isn't bad!" Graham reported with a chuckle, and then took a moment to consider. "Okay, then, with a fifteen, I'd say you definitely notice the man who was being attacked, we'll call him the Shusher, slipping clumsily through the crowd. You can tell he's in a bit of a hurry to flee the scene because he keeps bumping into people without even saying excuse me or pardon me or oop! Whoops! Sorry!. Most people don't seem to mind, they're too invested in either watching the performance or grinning over at their friends in appreciation for it, but there's a few people giving him dirty looks for being jostled, which helps you trace his path. And you said you wanted to follow them, yes?"
