Lexi had had just too much energy today, so Kitty had decided to save all their ears and give the poor dogs a break by taking her to the park for a while. She could play on the playground, maybe burn some of that off to be a normal functioning human again for a while.

Kitty sat on a bench nearby and watched as Lexi at first ran all over the place like a little psycho and hit the slide about eight times in a row, and now she was watching her daughter just... pour sand on the bottom of the slide. She seemed to have a very important reason to do it, but for the life of her Kitty couldn't figure out what it was.
