Fix & Clean- Friday Afternoon
So, the rabbit-sitting had gone surprisingly well.... right up until it hadn't, which had been the moment Amaya transformed back to her normal human size and shaped self. And while there had been a certain degree of awkwardness, even beyond the normal expected level for that sort of situation, the bigger issue, at least at the moment, was dealing with the sudden lack of a dresser.
So Dwight spent much of the morning sorting through the wood in the back storage room, selecting the pieces that would be best suited for a new dresser. He had them set up in the corner, ready to take to the work room to start measuring and cutting. But only after he took a break to enjoy the last of the iced coffee he had grabbed during his morning run.
The shop was open and Dwight was available!

"Dwight." She came into the shop all business, of course, sparing no time in depositing the nearly folded, freshly laundered clothes on the nearest surface, along with a small box. "I believe these might be yours. Thanks again. And sorry," she nodded, seeing what he was working on and able to take a guess where that was going, "again, about the dresser. Brought some of the cupcakes from class as a ways to make up for it. They're potato. And Nutella. Not together, I mean. They're seperate. But I made both."
She was definitely Very Good at this and not Awkward at all!

Dwight brushed off his hands as he turned and walked over to inspect said goodies with interest.
"Nutella sounds amazing. And potato.... sounds oddly intriguing I have to admit" he said with a slight grin.

Not that Amaya was the greatest baker in the world, either, though. Her batches definitely seemed to always come out a little overcooked, but, well, being used to needing a lot of heat to get things done...
"I'll not keep you long, though," she added. "Just wanted to drop these off."

"Right. Well, appreciate you bringing them by. Will let ya know how they turned out. And thanks from bringing these back," he said as he picked up the clothes to move them out of the way. "And sorry about all the... you know..." The awkwardness and all that stuff.

"Ah, well," said Amaya, dismissively waving a hand as if to clear all that out of the air, once and for all, "those pesky animal transformations, can't be helped, really! Nothing to worry about there!"

"I think," she said, "I have a new project now."
Can you guess what?
Did you guess a rabbit-sized hammer and anvil and mini-forge? Because if yes, then congratulations! You won!

"Well, good luck with whatever it is. I am sure it will be a good project to keep you occupied with!" Ya know, just so long as other projects in the works didn't get totally overlooked and forgotten.

"Most projects are," Amaya pointed out, "and I should really let you get back to yours."
But there seemed to be a ..slight hesitation before she finally turned to make good on those words with a wave of her hand. "See ya around, Dwight."
