Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Rey had finally remembered to bring the holocron files today, and all of that was set on a crate in the middle of the warehouse to go through once Anakin arrived.

For the moment, she was doing a quick run through the course, and only glaring a little bit at the quicksand before the jump over it. She knew it wasn't chocolate pudding. But it reminded her of it enough to be mad about it.

"Rey?" Anakin called, coming into the warehouse.

"Here," she called, from where she was finishing up the course.

Anakin gave her a wave. "Keep going!"

[thatwaslucky]

"I can double back," she called, not yet stopping.

[sith_happened]

"If you'd like!" Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Holocron files are down there," Rey called, doubling back with an ease that said she'd done this a hundred times before.

Anakin pursed his lips when he found them. "I'll wait for you," he called back.

Force alone knew who was waiting for him on those.

"I'll be quick!"

Because now she was trying it for speed.

"I'll time you!" Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Start five seconds ago!"

She actually was already moving pretty fast. Going backwards was always a little slower, but not by much.

"On it!" Anakin said, grinning. "Need more remotes?"

[thatwaslucky]

"No!"

She figured she would get them.

[sith_happened]

Anakin grinned. "As you wish."

He'd wait a minute, then do it.

Of course he would.

And he probably couldn't hear her "mmm" at that, but she was really bolting now to make up ground before the remotes were unleashed.

And here came the remotes!

She knew it and she was ready for them, lightsaber already out and lit because she was not letting them mess with her today! She let a few bolts pass her, but anything that would have hit her she was blocking pretty easily.

"Impressive," Anakin said with a little smile. "Most impressive."

If she saw herself, she'd probably be less self-conscious of how she was doing. The wall was always the hard part with the remotes, but in the interest of time she simply jumped to the top of it.

"There you go," Anakin said, grinning wider.

[thatwaslucky]

She was making good time, though the hanging bags always slowed her down since she couldn't phase, though she did manage to swing one so that it took a remote's bolt, and kept going without looking.

She also wasn't taking changes, and was maybe jumping over things that did not strictly need to be jumped.

Anakin smiled proudly. And then sent more remotes.

Of course he did.

And to show what she thought of that, Rey paused just long enough to catch a bolt from one of the remotes on her hand to rebound it at another, before taking off running again.

Anakin's grin increased. "Nice."

[thatwaslucky]

She kept up that sort of thing right up until she came back down the ramp when she was done. "That was supposed to be for speed."

"Sometimes things come up," Anakin said with another grin.
