The Devil's Nest, Monday Night
Eric had, in general, moved past most of his issues. (The ones neatly labeled "WITCHES" and "WEREWOLVES" over in the corner of his office were tasteful and, let's be honest, practically cliché given who he was. The sparkly one labeled "Sookie" was not up for discussion.) He'd gotten to work mostly unscathed by whatever this was, and then he went out into the main area.
Every damn piece of luggage was olive shaped, including the "TAKES A JOKE WAY PAST THE POINT WHERE IT'S FUNNY" bag Tiny was frantically shoving into the walk-in fridge.
"Drink," Eric said, rubbing his forehead. "Big one. Keep them coming."
The Devil's Nest was open. Unfortunately.

"I hope the drink helps." He hoped drinks were going to help both of them.

They'd help if it killed her.

Pastries earlier had helped him. He was pretty sure a drink or three would as well.

He sighed and walked up to the bar, shoving one of his smaller bags off the bartop before taking a seat.
"Drinks. Please."

She hurled that one into the ocean.
And now she was at the bar! The first one she found on her way back from yeeting luggage into the water.
"Olives?" she went with instead of a drink order.

You, he would've remembered. "Welcome."

"Hi," she replied, definitelynot immune to tall, blonde, and viking adjacent. "I should go easy because I don't know my alcohol tolerance anymore."
It was high, Jane. Very high.
"But today makes me think a very strong drink."
That she would not enjoy with the same gusto as, say, Valkyrie.
no subject
"We have extremely strong drinks here," Eric assured her. "Vodka? Tequila?"

"Best not to question the olives. Or eat them."
And ignore all those bags surrounding the alien. So many bags.

They almost certainly had been. Where was a health inspector when you needed one?
"You're new?" She almost certainly was but there were still a few not new people Stark had managed not to meet.
The trunk with the very large number on it had reappeared and Stark just sighed and put his feet up on it.

It was Jane's actual shade! The blonde was just hammer magic.

Then another large suitcase with ‘Stephen and Helen’ appeared because apparently it was too much to ask to forget about that little revelation.
“Scotch,” he said as he came up to the bar, “please,” he added.

He ignored the suitcase that appeared with ‘runs away from problems’.

Well, from Tiny. Eric didn't serve humans.
