Beer was not exactly Shunsui's preferred beverage of choice, but he could certainly appreciate it in certain contexts, and, as far as things Apu-san chose to feature in his never-ending quest to celebrate the most random things as dictated by some supposed national calendar, National Beer Lovers Day did not at all seem like a bad one. No one was going to argue about people getting discounts on their booze today, after all, least of all him, and the displays of featuring some local breweries and their best brews were a nice touch to the front of the store today.

What Shunsui could do without, however, was Apu-san's continued performance of '99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall', which wasn't so bad when he was in other parts of the store, but he could swear he timed his sweeping to bring him back up toward the counter while belting out out precisely at the momentswhen Shunsui was about to drift off into a good nap.

Perhaps it was giving the man too much credit to think that it was being done intentionally, but it was also too coincidental for him to assume it wasn't.
