When Shunsui finally breezed into the shop that day, he was hardly expecting to have to avoid a tiny colorful ball rolling across the front of the shop, right in his path, that was heading for a small cup near the counter. The ball smoothly sailed into it with a small thunk, and Apu emerged from one of the aisles with a small golf putter in hand.

He proceeded to explain to Shunsui that he'd spent the morning preparing all the aisles, to which Shunsui, perhaps foolishly, asked "Preparing them for what?" and the answer, while not as bad as it could have been, was that each aisle now had a thematic little course in it to celebrate Miniature Golf Day.

Which just sounded like it would make getting around the aisles more difficult, but what did Shunsui know?

(It wasn't like he planned on moving too far from the counter, anyway).

Connor had handwavely been to T&C before but apparently never on a Wednesday because he didn't recognize the man sitting...lounging.... behind the counter? And let's be real, Shunsui was impossible to forget. So he was trying to avoid Apu's gaze as he made his way to the counter.

Napping. The appropriate word was probably napping, but not so deeply that he didn't notice that someone had not only come into the shop, but that they were approaching the counter, and so he cracked open one of his eyes, pushed back his hat a little, had a small flash of disappointment for the fact that, if he was expected to do actual work, it wasn't going to be for a beautiful woman, and then sat up a little.

"Ohayō gozaimasu~~ ♥," he sang out sleepily. "How can we help you today ♥."

Hopefully, no errant golf balls from aisles managed to roll out and get you in the ankles, Connor.

That was quite the aesthetics there Shunsui. Connor was impressed.

"Ah yeah, was looking to get a few things for a... date I have coming up. Probably need to special order a few things, if that is something you guys can do here."

Thank you. This aesthetic had been delicately cultivated over thousands of years, Shunsui was quite proud of it.

"Mmmm ♥," he couldn't help grinning, quite a bit lopsidedly and approvingly, at the news of what apparently drove this young man through their doors that day. "Well, we most certainly do special orders in the rare instances where we don't already have something in stock....but...I should think actually Dite's might be the place to turn to for that sort of thing ♥."

Ok and cue the somewhat nervous laughter and flush at that. Connor had been BY Dites and knew of it, but that was definitely as close to the shop as he had been.

"Ah well...." Connor said fumbling around with his words for a moment. "Was actually looking at just some drinks and such. I promised a good selection of Gin so I need to make good on that. Regular run of the mill won't work for this," Connor added with a somewhat lopsided grin of his own.

"Mmmm." This time, the deep hum sounded rather disappointed, really, although it remained mostly amused by that reaction. "Well...it might still be worth a look, but, yes, if it's gin you're after, we're probably much better suited for your needs there ♥. We do pride ourselves in our alcohol selection here," it was relevant to both his and Summer-chan's interests!, "but if you were hoping for something rather specific, we can certainly find it for you ♥. When would you need it by?"

"If by Monday that would be great," Connor said. "Promised some good selections. Trying to prove there's more to Gin and Tonic than the blank boring stuff" he said with a smirk."

He looked around the shop. He had been there a few times but not too many so the place was still quite unfamiliar to him.

"You say you have a good selection here as it is?"

"Mmm..." This third hum was the most disappointed of all, enough to be more grunt than hum, really, because by Monday meant that he simply couldn't just leave it for Summer-chan to take care of. "That's cutting it a little close for a special order....but I can see what I can do."

Which meant he would be just having Apu-san do it instead.

"But yes ♥," he then added, because not making anyone do anything was clearly a better solution in this instance, anyway. "Both myself and my manager are quite the purveyors of fine booze, so we do have a rather fine and varied," and moddable!, "selection ♥. Granted, I have my preference toward sake and she tends to lean toward your vodkas, but with since the variety of tastes around here can run quite the gamut, we do like to ensure no desire is left behind ♥. Aisle Handwavey," he gave his hand a lazy wave in that direction, "should you like to peruse ♥. And you can let us know if we've been utterly dismal about keeping a decent selection ♥."

"Thanks, mate" Connor said with a nod. "Appreciate it. So long as i can get something to impress Michael I'll be thrilled."

"Well, I am certain you can't go wrong with whichever one is most expensive," Shunsui drawled out helpfully, "or perhaps whatever just has a very cool bottle ♥. That's what always seems to work for me ♥."

"Will keep that in mind. Thanks..." Connor said with a certain degree of uncertainty.

"And do let the man with the golf putter know if you need further assistance ♥," Shunsui cooed, figuring he might as well deflect that inconvenience straight away. "And watch out for golf balls. He's apparently quite sporty today."
