You know what?

Summer felt like it was a real sign of her maturity and how she'd managed to evolve and become more sophisticated over the years that, when she came into the bar and found Tino experimenting with new cocktails focused entirely on various different Mt. Dew varieties, her first thought was 'disgusting' and her second thought was 'at least its not Malort.'

And she kept those thoughts to herself, because no one needed to be mixing Malort and Mt. Dew, and this was coming from the woman who had a drink that involved Red Bull and specifically a red Solo cup named after her.

She then proceeded to the specials board, where the words 'mushroom' and 'beans' accompanied the word 'jello shot', so something something glass houses.

Goose had been a bit distracted the last few days since he had heard Prompto was back and he was trying to not immediately go and ask him questions about Ignis but it had been hard since Goose was not known for his patience.

"I heard Prompto was back," he said softly by way of greeting.

Summer meeting that statement with a soft, sympathetic sort of smile was probably not the most encouraging response, but, hey! This was exactly the reason she decided to do five jello shots today instead of just four, and she was already lining them up for him.

"Yeahhhhh," she said. "And he's done something terrible to his face."

What? She had her reasons! It was personal!

Goose gladly reached for the first shot and pulled it closer to him, "oh?" he blinked, "what has he done to it?"

He was nervous about finding out any news on Ignis but talking about Prompto's (questionable?) facial hair was at least something different he could talk about.

"Isn't Mountain Dew basically sugar water?" Jesse asked.

"Carbonated sugar water!" Summer offered helpfully, while setting a nice cold generic beer in front of Jesse. "But, yes, basically. Exactly the thing I want mixed with my tequila."

Honestly? A few years ago? She'd be all about that, ngl. But she had clearly grown a lot since those days.

"Sounds like something kids would mix in their garage," Jesse admitted, reaching for her generic beer. "But I guess this is Caritas."

Stark gave Tino a very curious look in spite of himself. He did like sodas. But Tino...

"No green beans. Please. The others seem fine? Hello, Summer."

"The others are very fine," Summer assured him with a nod and a faint smile. "Hello, Stark. Would you like to try all the ones without green beans?"

"I'll try all of the others, yes," Stark said, returning the smile with one of his own. "Thank you. How are you? Since... yesterday."

It had been a whole 24 hours. Who knew what could have happened?

Jane had very much missed out on the Dew-garita trend due to not existing for five years and all, so she was watching Tino with a look of confusion.

"I think I'll stick with Jello shots," Jane said. Because she hadn't noticed the last one on the list yet.

"Smart," said Summer, with a nod, and not at all because she was totally biased on this front. "Want to do the whole set tonight?"

"Why not?" Jane replied with an enthusiasm that would just be destroyed by the green bean and mushroom monstrosity. Just destroyed.
