Friday in the Park with Nell
Nell decided that she really needed to take a bit of a break and get out of the house. After a quick stop at the Perk to get a coffee and a delicious looking pastry that she hadn't even had to make herself, she made her way to the Park where she sat on a bench by the lake.
She had a book with her to read and had a nice warm sweater on so she'd be cozy and warm. It might be an overcast day, but she loved the crisp fall air. She also just might have two small kittens tucked into the pockets of her sweater.

Thus it was a Marc in Steven's clothing who walked up. "Hey."

Sure he had his own added abilities in the suit but those boiled down to being able to do what he already knew but better.

Nell gave him a wry smile. "Practiced my Tai Chi form every day for nine years. At least twice a day. M'pretty darn good at it by now."
She was also stronger and more flexible than she'd been before. And she didn't have near as much trouble facing down people who scared her, gun in her pocket notwithstanding. In fact, the more they scared her the more likely she was to mouth off. Maybe not the smartest thing, but it was her way of maybe whistling in the dark.

"Even though I'm a guy?" Marc said. Which obviously she knew but if they were having the discussion they were going to hit all the key points here. Namely as far as he knew it hadn't been women who hurt her.

Liz felt bad that she hadn’t had a chance to stop by yet.
