Fix & Clean- Friday

There had been a LOT to unpack and deal with since last weekend. And Dwight still wasn't 100% through with all of it. But he was feeling better than he had been earlier that week so progress was progress right?

At the moment, the shop was open and he was busy in the workshop doing some sanding and scroll work on a piece of pine. The doors were open to let the cooler weather in and there was a nearly-finished pumpkin spiced coffee on the table next to him.

If anyone needed him, he was there and easy to find.

It had been a while since Liz had stopped by but now that things had settled, even though it was taking some getting used to having Gladio live with them, Liz decided to stop by later that morning.

“Hi,” she smiled as she entered.

"Hey Liz," Dwight said as he looked up. "Good to see ya. You're looking good, how are things going?

Liz smiled, “Same here,” she nodded, “things are going well thank you, very well,” she added, “how about you? I’m sorry I haven’t stopped by the last couple of weeks,”

"Oh keeping busy, trying to stay out of trouble, the usual" Dwight said with a smirk. "And don't worry about not stopping by sooner. Given me some time to finish up a few things for ya. If you have the time now I can bring them out of the back room to show you and get your thoughts on them so far."

Liz smiled, "I have the time now," she nodded, "I would like to see them thank you," she told him.

Dwight smiled and nodded towards the chair and water cooler by the counter. "Make yourself comfortable and I'll have them out for you shortly" he sad before disappearing into the back room.

A few minutes later he had brought out a nearly finished dresser and a toy chest/storage box.

"Mostly done with them, other than any personalizations and such. Still got plenty I can do with stains and paints, engravings, and other touches."

Liz smiled from where she was sitting as she saw the dresser and toy chest, “these are fantastic, thank you,” she told him, “we haven’t decided on a colour scheme yet but they will definitely look amazing in the nursery,” she added.

"Sounds good. Whenever you decide let me know and I can do any final scroll work or engraving for you guys," Dwight said with a grin. "And I can keep them in the back room for you until you are ready for them if needed. I still have some space available."
