Prompto was honestly feeling a little tempted to take a page out of Shunsui's book that day and just take a nap at the counter in between customers, because he was tired as hell. He probably should have known better than to go out with the guys last night, and it wasn't helped at all by both him and Liz sort of having restless, fitful sleep.
But he was trying to work through it, clinging blearily to his coffee, and weirdly grateful that Apu had decided to do a special demonstration to promote a shipment of Easy Bake Ovens that had come in, which meant he was being handed plenty of easy-baked cookies and cakes throughout the day (for better or for worse), and there was at least one particularly exciting moment where there was a heated debate between Apu and the cheese panda about whether or not you could make toasted cheese in one of them.
And since the cheese panda certain had his ways of influencing people, they were definitely going to find out.
