Devil's Nest | Thursday Evening
There was a mere two weeks until the Christmas rager, and while Annie had little doubt that she and Summer (let's be real -- mostly Summer) could pull a party off with even less notice, she was still falling back on her faithful checklists and Pinterest boards.
Considering how popular her nigh-deadly punch had been the last two years, she was kind of considering whether she should change it up from a standard drink dispenser to a punch bowl. Or maybe something bigger?
So Annie was posted up behind the bar tonight, not only featuring some punch test-drives, but also doing some research on her phone. Maybe a farm supply store was the answer? (Oh, shit, was a trough the answer? Probably not.)

Black Magic Punch

And maybe she would just serve all three, if they were all good. (Though only one could go in this proposed galvanized tub or whatever.)
Re: Bar | 11/17/22
"Is it already time for Christmas parties?" Gladio asked, although, really, it wasn't surprising that he didn't have any idea. Adjusting to where they were at in the Earth calendar hadn't exactly been that high of a priority for him, and without a whole lot to strive for, the weeks just kind of blurred for him. If it weren't for his drinking nights and the gym, he wasn't sure he'd even bother keeping track of the days except for the novelty of days being a thing again still.
"Not that I mind helping you test them out," he offered. "If you need some opinions."
Re: Bar | 11/17/22
It was part of the charm, damn it. Start the holiday season off by going as hard as possible.
"But you've got a good month and change before the actual holiday, don't worry."
Re: Bar | 11/17/22
"So how was your weekend?" he asked, grin maybe going a little lopsided, a little apologetic, since he was pretty sure there was a wide variety of feelings about the whole thing, but he highly doubted Annie would have had an issue with being all wee tiny and adorable. "Eventful?"

"Scotch please," he asked as he took seat and then looked at the specials, "and maybe one of the specials as well, what would you recommend?"
Re: Bar | 11/17/22
Important question.

Annie, meanwhile, would probably be sticking a black tongue out at her husband upon arrival home this evening, because she found that sort of thing endlessly amusing.
Re: Bar | 11/17/22
“No date for me I’m afraid,” he sighed a bit at that, “the only date I have is back at the apartment with my research,”

Re: Bar | 11/17/22
(Probably for the best that Annie was not in charge of IDing around here, yep.)
"You got a preference on tap versus can?" Annie asked, picking up both a glass and a can of PBR and waving either hand at him jauntily.

Those were the only choices.

Eric was still, possibly, hiding from the possibility of tiny humans. With vodka.
