There was a lot of whispering going on between Apu-san and the cheese panda that day. A lot. To the point where it was disturbing even Shunsui's attempts to nap, and Shunsui could have napped through those bagpipes last Friday (step it up, Argentum, you amateur). To the point where Shunsui just sort of sighed and figured it was better to just nip this in the bud now rather than having to deal with what he assumed was the natural conclusion to all that whispering.

"I do know what day it is, you know," he drawled out to them, "and I think it's cute that you'd think you could. You're welcome to try, but I'm going to tell you both now, it'll only end up embarrassing you and wasting my time and energy ♥."

Thank goodness, though, that Apu was likely a traditionalist who planned to stick with knives, considering both his other employees preferred firearms....

...well, Summer-chan seemed pretty scrappy and probably preferred 'literally anything that works,' but he liked to think she tolerated him enough to not want in on Apu's Ides of March uprising.
