Atlas Gym; Tuesday [03/21].
Since it had come up in conversation last week, Gladio was pulling out some of the reinforced practice dummies that Ignis used for his knife training out of the supply closet and into the open training area, mostly in case Marc wanted to check them out and see if they'd work for his own knife work, too, but also just to see how they were holding up. It was pretty clear they'd taken more than a few beatings, but they were still in pretty good shape, which just meant he'd go home and give Iggy crap for clearly slacking off.
And, well, since he was already in there, he figured maybe today was a good day to take stock and note exactly what all else was in that supply closet, which mostly just lead to him wondering what the hell some of these things even even were. A lotta springs, though, which....he felt like he could snap some of these things just by looking at them, and not just because they were old, either.
Atlas is open!

...but, hey, if what happened last week meant getting her in the gym more, Gladio could hardly complain.
"Summer," he said, trying his best to not look too amused or to just shake his head. "How's it going?"

Her stretching shifted to pull a leg up behind her, make sure to warm up that flexibility.
"I might need a spotter later, when I hit the bench, if you're not too busy."

And then, a nod. "How've you been, Nell?"

He lifted up one of the coiled stretchers with a surprising delicacy, two fingers holding it up and away by the handles as if its ineffectualness (in his opinion, anyway) might be catching.
There was probably a joke about spring cleaning in there somewhere, too, but seasons weren't much of a thing on Eos.

She looked at the springs and grinned. "It's Fandom, so I'd bet you're right."

Which he regarded again with another baffled shake of his head. "Whatever it is. It's probably been a while since anyone's really gone through the stuff back there, I'm a little afraid of what else I'm going to find."
It being Fandom, maybe further back, some of these spring apparatus were actually alive.

Or a nod of hey, as it were.

Nope, still not entirely sure what some of these things were.
"....spring....things?"

He walked over to one of the practice dummies and clapped a hand on it. "These guys, though, I know you'll be interested in. These are what Specs has been using." He dug a finger a little, into a particularly impressive gouge even its tough, hard surface. "For his knifework."

"I don't even know what I've found today," he admitted. "Do you recognize any of these things?"
Come on, Earth people. Help a poor dude from another planet out here.
Although that made him remember this was a nexus, maybe it wasn't terrestrial equipment at all.
That would actually make more sense, right?

Very helpful, Steven. Truly. "No idea about that other one, though, sorry."

"Jiggles off belly fat?" he then had to ask, regarding Steve dubiously. "Really? I mean, I'm no doctor," nor had he probably ever had even an inch of belly fat in his entire life; dude was probably doing crunches in the womb, "but I don't think that's how that works."
