Mystery Sign Theater 3000, Monday
The movie theater's systems were down. Both the ticketing system and everything connected to actually showing the damn movies - which was weird, because, like. They were two entirely unrelated systems? So both of them being on the fritz was some wildly inconvenient coincidence.
Anyway, Ingrid was somewhere in the bowels of the projection booth trying to fix the issue with the auditorium, while Ulysses was out in the box office --
Kind of just uselessly poking at the computer? He had zero IT skills. He was pretty sure Ingrid knew this, and it wasn't exactly making him feel any extra motivation to learn anything right now. Just look at the half-hearted, hand-written sign he had perched on the box office counter:
