If Shunsui had a choice in the matter, he would not have bothered coming into the store today; he would have just sequestered himself in his apartment or maybe the the onsen and just slept and drank his Wednesday (and the entirety of last week) away. But the only reason he'd managed to convince Nanao-chan to handle all the ensuing paperwork of a week of having to actually Captain his Division and distribute his soldiers to help out all throughout the Soul Society and the Living World to handle an unexpected spark of Hollow activity was to make an appeal to having to check on the store. And he wouldn't be surprised at all if she were to send a Jigokuchō after him to ensure that going to the store was precisely what he did.

Thankfully, he could also just sleep and drink while he was here, too!
