Man. Prompto really could not catch a break with Apu, could he? Because even though he knew the guy was probably going to give him crap about not coming in last Friday due to puppiness, he was not expecting to be regarded with so much suspicion and vitriol over just trying to help the guy with all the set-up for last-minute Easter decorations and other holiday-related purchases.

"Can't I just want to help?" Prompto protested. "I mean, this is all part of my job, right?"

Sure, he was also using it as a good excuse to try and scope out some good things to snag for maybe an Easter present for Liz (is that how it worked? He still was kind of confused, remembering all these holidays was tough sometimes!), but there was definitely going to be a threat of Noctra being buried in a vertible flood of adorable bunny plushies.

There were some cute bird ones, too, but he was a little less convinced by those. They just ended up feeling like less cool chocobos, to him.

Prompto had been feeling like he'd been doing more work trying to convince Apu to let him to work than he was doing any actual work, so when Liz's text came in, he was ready for a nice break and went to make himself comfortable at the counter, grinning at all the emoji.

things r fine. Apu's being weird but what else is new? There's some really cute Easter stuff, though. And a ton of candy. Any special requests while I'm here??

why is Apu being weird this time? Liz wrote back and then smiled at the mention of all the Easter stuff there really is a lot of adorable Easter stuff, I think Noctra’s going to enjoy her first Easter 😍. Candy does sound nice, anything with chocolate mint? 🥰🥰🥰🥰😍
