You know, Vi had felt fine when she started her shift, only for something to hit her like a sledgehammer part way in. Since Steph had made it pretty clear last time she preferred her not to work through it, she told Little Bot he was in charge, made a sign for the desk, and was currently napping in Steph's office.


Ask roomba for service.

Vi was fine the last time Steph saw her, so the sign caught her a little bit off guard when she came in with their lunch -- which she set down very carefully on the desk in the office so as not to wake Vi. She draped a light throw blanket (it was the 1940s pinup style Bitterwoman one) over Vi and kissed the top of her head, trying to be as quiet as possible.

Which of course earned her a glare from Saffron, who'd come over to curl up by Vi's feet. Taking care of her was her job, Food Human!

Hey, that was fine with Steph -- she could go eat her lunch out at the counter and help Little Bot out by watching the register.
