Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [06/30[.
Since Sidon's class for the second part of the summer would be taking place in the animal shelter, he had a big weekend of cleaning and preparation ahead of him, and he could not be more excited about it. And while all that was going on, he was sure to give all the animals encouraging affirmations and inspiration so that they were ready for it, too.
There was also a bit of planning going on, at the counter, figuring out which animals to do which week and having back-up plans ready because animals could be unpredictable, but Sidon found organizing and cleaning and pep talks much more engaging than lesson plans, so maybe those would wait more for after all the set up.
Either way, he was terribly excited, and he certainly hoped all the students and animals alike would be, as well!
Furnado is open!

So today he was going to test out that theory and visit some puppies. Maybe even dogs who weren't puppies!
"Hello, Sidon," he said. "I was hoping to visit some puppies?"
no subject
"Stark!" Sidon greeted him with a sharp, toothy grin and a pump of his fist, before opening his arms on a welcoming gesture. "Hello! How very good to see you! And that is excellent! The puppies do love to get visitors, so that is wonderful news, my friend!"
no subject
"Good," Stark said, unable to resist grinning back at Sidon. "I was hoping they might enjoy a visitor. I know I'll enjoy seeing them."
Because how could you overthink when covered in snuggly puppies?
no subject
"Fantastic!" Sidon pumped his fist again. "And you've got marvelous timing; they're overdue for treats if you wanted to win them over even more! And it will be good practice for them to prepare for all thr visitors they'll be getting now with my next class!"
no subject
"Overdue for treats? I wouldn't want to keep them waiting any longer! You're having a class with puppies?"
no subject
"And what about you, Stark? Will you be assisting in the expanding of the minds of our fellow Fandomites again this summer, as well?"
no subject
Maybe he ought to look into that!
"It sounds very pleasant."
no subject
Or anyone prone to injury as much as poor Sakaki was, but, hey! At least now that she'd graduated, their First Aid kits were well stocked!
"I'm afraid I wouldn't likely get much out of yours and Summer's class, I'm afraid. I've found most foods are food crimes, as far as my restrictive diet is concerned! But it always does sound quite fascinating on the radio!"
no subject
"Summer's recipes are definitely fascinating," Stark agreed with another grin. "I'm sure she could come up with something you could eat that would still be a crime. She might think it was a good challenge."
"Which way to the puppies? I'm sure they need treats and to be told they are Very Good Dogs."
no subject
"Right this way, my very good friend," Sidon announced, gesturing a heading toward the front of the store where the puppy pen was and the puppies, in defiance of any requests by Sidon to maybe tidy up a bit, there was a plethora of completely moddable pups rolling around, napping, and generally making the most out of their dog days of summer by frollicking about and playing.
"It wouldn't be too difficult," he allowed. "A recipe for me would mostly just have to focus on fish! That's almost entirely what a Zora's diet consists of, although I have discovered that pizza is an interesting exception."
Because pizza was a magical food. It was known.

"I should suggest it to her," Stark said as he knelt down by the puppies and held out a hand for them to sniff. "That she try and find a food crime just for you."
no subject
"I would be honored," Sidon remarked, and now there was a word that usually did not go hand-in-hand with any of Summer's recipes for her classes, "if she would make such a consideration! And I would be intrigued to discover what unique," that was more in line with it, yes, "concoction she manages to manifest!"
no subject
"Hello little ones," he said softly, setting the treat container down so he could offer both hands for pets and exploratory nibbles.
"I'll suggest it," he added, nodding back up (and up and up) at Sidon. "See what she can come up with. I'm sure it will be horrifying."
no subject
"There are a lot of horrifying fish out there," Sidon mused, "especially when you really get down in the depths, but I have the feeling that this would be horrifying in entirely different ways!"
no subject
"If you can open it you can have as many as you like," he said to it. "Until then, I think one each. One treat and many, many pets."
The puppy, being a puppy, just squirmed and tried to lick Stark's face.
