Turtle & Canary; Monday [07/03].

Summer still felt gross from her little unexpected venture in Dimension C-35 to fetch some Mega Seeds for her grandfather that weekend, so she was incredibly relieved to come into the store that Monday to find that Apu had definitely had all things set up for the Fourth of July tomorrow, complete with little displays for fireworks (even one for fire safety items!) and cookouts and the whole store awash with red, white, and blue, to the point where all he had left to do, apparently, was pull up a lawn chair by the Squishy machine and...

...eat beans, apparently.

Straight from the can. Cold. Potentially while staring down anyone who seemed to look at him askanse about it.

Which was fine by Summer, it seemed pretty harmless enough, but that was definitely a statement she was going to need to retract later, when she could at least be glad that she'd finished all the inventory and ordering so she didn't have to be worried about being downwind once all those beans worked their way through Apu's system with some blasts that would put most of those grocery-store-grade fireworks to shame.

Whatever. She was just going to focus on finally getting the chance to drag Travis to that space spa she never shuts up about, and after C-35? God, she needed it, C-35 sucked.
