Furnado Animal Shelter; Friday [07/07].
Had Sidon not been busy back home for most of the week helping out with yet another influx of lizalfos invasions (they seemed to be increasing again, significantly, in a way that he found a little worrying), he might have had a little bit of an idea of what might be going on, although it would be an interesting distinction, wouldn't it? That he used to feel the call of that stone in the woods during the other times it had put out its lure, but that he didn't feel....anything at all, this time around.
Had he known, he might have pondered what that meant. He might have been a bit worried. It might have been a little distressing, but perhaps it would also be somewhat oddly comforting? Mipha's visits had reassured him a lot, and given him the confidence in himself and the path forward when it faltered in a way that few people ever really saw.
But he didn't. And, in fact, his mind was quite heavily on something else entirely, another figure from his past, much like his sister, certainly someone close enough to him in his childhood to have almost been one, someone that he hadn't thought about in...well, decades, really. But while he was home, there was a letter waiting for him, neatly rolled and tucked into a bottle, to remind him.
Yona. It had been so good to hear from her again, and a little heartbreaking to hear how much she missed the Domain, and would like to return to see them all again, if not for the threat of the Calamity still keeping her away, somewhere much safer, across the ocean in her own far, far away kingdom. So it was with that in mind that Sidon found himself rather nostalgic as he went about his tasks around the Shelter, but in a very different way than everyone else on this island, as it so happened.
Furnado is open!
