Two weeks in a row now, Apu's attention to random holidays had actually turned out quite well, and Shunsui was enjoying this one enough that he was considering even taking a moment to write out a note for Summer-chan to give the man a well-deserved raise.
In crayon, of course, because you see, today was National Coloring Book Day, so all coloring books and things to color with, from crayons to color pencils, markers to water colors, were all marked down and put up in a lovely colorful display near the Squishy machine, and the owner of the store was happily, lazily, contentedly filling in the bold lines on the page at the counter today...
And very often very much going well outside of them.
