Fix and Clean Shop- Friday
There had been a lot on Dwight's mind. More than usual, which was probably to be expected given everything that had happened over the few weeks. He had tried for the last few days to get back into a routine of sorts, but it was proving a bit of a challenge.
As proof to that fact, Dwight was down in the shop, not working on any new project but rather sitting at the counter. Several books were spread out in front of him. Photo albums to be exact. And it was at a slow and methodical pace that he slowly turned the pages looking at the photos and the memories on each page.
It was likely going to be another unproductive day, but if anyone needed him, he was there and the door to the shop was open.

who would ping in on his owncame in.If Dwight was the kind of guy who paid attention to clothing he might notice Marc was wearing a combination of his and Steven's clothes but managing to somehow make them look more put together than Steven did. Almost as though they'd planned for a bit of switching today.
Regardless, the accent was always the giveaway as Marc said, "Hey. How's it going?" and gave Dwight a once over like he possibly cared about the answer more than he would for the average person.
Not that Marc ever cared, of course.

"Marc, hey. Good to see ya again after... everything." Dwight put down the album he had been looking through and stood. "Things are... Alright, mostly."
Not that Marc cared... Perish the thought!

"Steven said to say hi," Marc told him, because it would be a thing if Marc didn't. "Anyway, looking to hire you for some work. A lot of work, actually."

Marc had what might be termed as some strong opinions on that last one.

"Fuck if I know?" Marc admitted. "Not exactly expecting a line out the door for obvious reasons. But same time we wanna keep the place on the right track. Even if nobody's in there it should still feel like a place people would want to stay in. Was thinking maybe focus on the common rooms and maybe 2-3 guest rooms to start? At least get some beds and bureaus in?"

Specifically cash that was likely to come in the form of a stack of bills, potentially even in a currency of Dwight's choosing.

Was it a great negotiating tactic to tell the other guy you'd pay pretty much whatever he asked? No. But if Marc wanted to fuck over the person he was buying from he wouldn't have come to Dwight. The whole point of this was for it to be mutually beneficial.
Marc indicated Watts. "Those two are gonna be gone this weekend but next week we're hoping to move in on our side. So we should be around if you need - I dunno. Measurements or whatever."
Again, Marc knew nothing about making furniture.
"You gonna be okay with coming inside? Won't hold it against you if you're not."

“Mr. Hendrickson. Good morning.”

"Watts, morning" Dwight said with a nod in greeting. "You are looking well. Feeling better I trust?"
Look they all had been a little worse for wear after the whole being trapped by the creepy house thing. Dwight wasn't gonna dwell on that more than what was necessary, but he did care how Watts was getting along and all.

“I find myself doing much the same,” he admitted.

"So, I hear things are progressing over at the house with... Midnight was it?" Sorry it was still odd talking about a sentient house and all.
