Annie was eating a banana as she wandered into the bar tonight, though she was also mindful of the time as she did so.

"It's for the potassium," she told Tiny, who hadn't quite turned to check the kegs as soon as Annie entered, and that was a mistake on his part. "So I don't get charlie horses and acid reflux in the middle of the night. That's a thing now. Isn't that fun?"

And to his retreating back, she called, "This isn't very supportive, Tiny!"

At least she'd finally kinda clued in on the fact that he super did not care about her pregnancy symptoms. But she only had a month or so left of sharing this beautiful journey with her favorite coworker, Tiny, so it wasn't like she was gonna stop.

"Gotta admit," said Gladio, as he came in, preventively shirted once more, and settled into his usual spot at the bar, "can't help but love a theme based around the sun."

After ten years without it? Yeah, definitely a big fan.

"How's it going, Annie?"

"You know, I'm also a little partial," Annie noted with a smile, waving a hand and pulling just enough power from the overhead lights to make it glow from within. "It's going, Gladio. Can't complain."

She totally could, but she'd save it for Tiny!

"Expecting company again tonight?" she added, turning that wave into a whole up and down gesture towards his person.

Gladio's brows lifted in an expression of extreme doubt at this 'can't complain' claim, with his own pointed look up and down at Annie's own (plus two) person, and shook his head, because he was a smart man (usually) and was not about to open that gate if he didn't have to.

And then he shrugged a little. "Not sure," he admitted. "Might've been just a one-off thing, but I figured it was better safe than sorry in case we've somehow managed to awaken an unexpected barfly from within."

That was smart of you, Gladio! Let Tiny get to hear all about Annie's feet and acid reflux and headaches!

"Or at least a fan of milkshakes, because your friend there has some good taste," Annie replied with a wink. (Perhaps because she did not feel that Nell's good taste extended only to her choice of beverages.) "Any particular flavor of sunshine jumping out at you from the board? They're all kind of equally frilly."

Though, notably, only one was actually pink, which might edge it out on the frilliness scale.

Even without the wink, Gladio would have just assumed that good taste assessment definitely went beyond drink choices, because, well, come on. Look at him.

"Great taste, actually," he corrected, with no small amount of shameless preening in his grin before his attention shifted back to the real question at hand.

"Any of 'em blended?"

"I could probably blend either of the Sunshine options if you wanted," Annie noted thoughtfully. "The Sunrise is layered, though; blending it would ruin the aesthetic."

Though it would also probably taste just as good if not, frankly, better.

"Well," Gladio decided, "I wouldn't want to ruin the aethetic, but....what if you blended the sunshine ones into one blended drink?"

He always was kind of a 'go big or go home' type of guy.

"You know, maybe you should be a bartender," Annie noted, raising her brows and considering ingredients for a moment before nodding. "I mean, it might kinda be a lot?"

And yet watch how she was already piling ice into a blender. It would be a fun experiment!

"I think I can handle it," Gladio decided, before a faint grin surfaced. "And I don't know if I'd want to get into the bartending business. Pretty stiff competition around here."
