Caritas; Wednesday [09/06].

Jello-making, universe-hopping, and bartending all in one day was going to meant that Summer's Wednesdays were fully stacked, and she could imagine that there were some days where it was going to be exhausting, but she was finding it actually pretty energizing for this first one.

How many people could say they'd bounced between two different versions of Pluto and still had awesome jello shots to fling later that very same day? Not many! Definitely not Tino!

Who was still sulking that Summer hadn't brought him a souvenir from Pluto, enough to make Summer wonder if a) he realized that plutonium was, you know, radioactive and b) if that might actually not effect him at all.

And wasn't that a thought that Summer was now going to banish from her brain for all eternity from here on out?

There was a glowy alien sliding on to his regular stool but he was not radioactive.

"Hello, Summer," he said, smiling softly. "Did class go well?"

"You weren't trying to traumatize them, were you?"

Stark smiled again and reached for one of the galaxy shots. Because it was pretty.

"I've never been to Pluto. I went to Mars, once. Not this one. Another version."

On a date. "Pluto is the very cold and dark little one?"

Stark frowned at the idea of mining a planet until it vanished.

"Mars was... different. Faye took me to her Mars. It was more like Earth than I thought it would be but not entirely. She made sure I stayed close so nothing would happen. It was interesting to see though, since I know here Mars is just red dust."

"I'd like that," Stark said quietly. "I did like flying in your ship the last time."

It had been a very nice space date.

"I don't go to other planets often at all these days."

"I'm sure you have good planets you could show me," Stark said, picking up the Blue Moon shot.

"Or at least very interesting ones. Just... maybe nowhere anyone might attack us?"

Stark huffed out a soft laugh.

"I'm sure there are more than that. Aren't there?" He wasn't actually sure at all.

"The one you took me to where we danced nothing attacked us." Good thing since they'd been very preoccupied at the time. "You've mentioned an ice cream planet."

"Someone always could," Stark said with a sigh. "I just... like to avoid that if I can. If we can. I don't want you hurt. Or me hurt."

You know, since he loved her and all.

"Maybe ice cream sometime soon? Or anywhere you like."
stykera: (ok)

Summer didn't expect to say something about not letting anyone hurt him and not have Stark looking at her with hearteye, right?

"Wednesdays are busy," he told her. "I have to see my favorite bartender on Wednesdays. I hate to miss her."

"Fridays are good," Stark said. "Any Friday. That gives you a day off in between. In case you need to rest."

Or maybe be pampered by someone who thought she deserved the world?

"Maybe," Stark suggested, eyeing his remaining shots, "someone could cook you breakfast on Thursday. So you can rest."

"Whatever you like," Stark said indulgently. "I'm happy to make you breakfast. You can even sleep in."

He picked up the noodle shot and put it back down.

"You had a busy day today. You might have a busy night. So tomorrow you should relax."

Stark looked around the mostly empty bar, then leaned over the bar to get closer. "The bar isn't very busy," he told her, voice low. "But it might be busy later."

He picked up the noodle shot again, looked at it, then tossed it back as best he could.

"Or we could leave."

"Do you think he'd rather we stay?" Stark asked quietly.

He picked up the pink Starburst shot, swallowed it, and leaned in even closer.

"I don't think he'd be very happy with me if we stay."
stykera: (close to you)

Stark didn't answer. Instead he leaned in enough to close the gap between them so he could kiss her.

It seemed like the best possible answer he could give and he was feeling a little bold tonight. He'd even tried the noodle shot!

Stark pulled back, just a little, and grinned at her.

"I'd be happy to do that all night," he said, reaching up to brush her cheek. "I'm not sure he wants that to happen while he's here."
stykera: (sincere)

"Neither do I," Stark said.

He really had no other choice but to kiss her again though.

No other choice at all!

"I'll be waiting right here," Stark promised.
