Well, Tino was all set up, thinking he was going to get some numbers out of the dating event for reasons that Jane couldn't quite suss out.

So she was just going to be at her end of the bar to help out anyone who needed a drink. Tino could deal with the disappointment when people just wanted a drink and to be left alone over on his part of the bar.

"Actually, that one is probably the more important one to you. I had dates with three people from your galaxy," Jessica said. "One is a Rey Skywalker and then freaking Cade. Which... can't wait to tell Gunn about that one."

"He's too far away from our point in the timeline," Jessica said with a shake of her head. "From what I understand he and Gunn end up crossing paths a lot before they find out about each other, and that sets up too many possible timeline splits if he knows too much."

"I think we're the only people from the only timeline who cares about that sort of thing."

She questioned everyone else, she wouldn't have even revealed her last name if she had expected alternate universe relatives here.

"And that's why we're friends," Jessica said with a toast. "Honestly, I might have told him more if I thought it might improve anything for either of them over in their branch. But absolute best case, it's hard to see that family finding a good path with each other at that time, you know?"

"I'm confident he wouldn't," Sia said. "But in brighter and less complicated news, I did get Tony to agree to upgrade my stuff. I'm curious to see how exactly he'll go overboard."
