Caritas, Saturday - After 3MD
Well, Tino was all set up, thinking he was going to get some numbers out of the dating event for reasons that Jane couldn't quite suss out.
So she was just going to be at her end of the bar to help out anyone who needed a drink. Tino could deal with the disappointment when people just wanted a drink and to be left alone over on his part of the bar.

Re: The Bar
Obviously not a reflection on how he thought their date had gone.
"But I would like to cook for you. I will hardly be so bold as to even come close to tantalising your tastebuds as thoroughly as your exquisite fruit salad, but I can promise you won't be disappointed. When might you be available?"
Re: The Bar
"Ah," she said, a sound of understanding and that sense of closeness eased as she shifted back out of his intimate personal space. "Well, I have a truly distressing amount of time upon my hands," she said, voice sounding no different than it had a moment before. "It galls me to say so, but it's entirely possible that your schedule will be the limiting factor here, not mine. I have only recently returned and so my social calendar is barren and my business calendar exists at my whim."
Her stomach rumbles again, but you know, she was just going to cover that with a small trill of a laugh.
Re: The Bar
"I would say, then," he mused, deciding to graciously avoid mentioning his own lack of a well-filled schedule, "any day after Tuesday would suit me well; that day is quite packed, as it were. And I hear there's a bit of a soiree in town next week on Friday, so it would behoove me to suggest something in between. Wednesday, perhaps?"
There was a pause, before he couldn't help himself from mentioning it.
"Though I have a suspicion," as good of a job as she did of trying to mask it, "that something to tide you over in the meantime might not be the worst idea."
Re: The Bar
At his comment about her current state of hunger, Liliana went quiet. "I was unexpectedly called away," she said, a little stiffly. Ignis likely knew what it sounded like when someone was torn between common sense and pride and Liliana seemed to be possessed of both in spades. "And I simply haven't had a chance to obtain anything new."
Re: The Bar
But more to the immediate point:
"Though it's certainly early enough still to grab something now, I would imagine; the island is definitely not lacking in dining establishments, and if that doesn't quite suit you, I do have a significant repertoire of quicker recipehs that should be no trouble at all to whip up quickly enough."
Re: The Bar
Once again, she pulled away, out of his personal space, though not as far. "I'm not opposed to dinner this evening as well," she said. "I trust your knowledge of restaurants about the island is superior to mine. And your desire to cook, greatly so." Her chuckle is warm, close to his ear.
Re: The Bar
"Which really, then," he said, "leave me with only two questions. What are you hungry for?" He meant food, of course, but had a certain inkling that this question could be very open to interpretation. "And, even more importantly...what kind of wine?"
Re: The Bar
Of food, thank you. It's been like a day or so since she'd eaten.
...Well, okay. Mostly
"Which means that the wine should be a robust red. Full-bodied."
Re: The Bar
Before her stomach started that rumbling again.
Honestly, the fact that he'd allowed such hunger to go unattended for as long as he had was downright criminal, really.
Re: The Bar
For shame, Ignis.
"Sounds delightful," she said, finishing off her wine and sliding her arm through his if he'd allow her to.
