Tuesday: Plant Parenthood

Nell had had a bit of a restless night last night, so she was a bit on the sleepy side today. She got all of her work done, then puttered around working on an idea for a new tea and lotion based around apples - since it was that time of year. In the afternoon, she had to admit it, she spent more time reading her book and sipping her new teas than she did working, so she was very interruptible.

And hey, it was her store so if she wanted to be a bit lazy she could give herself permission to do so!

"Oh, definitely," Nell said. "It would help me get the proportions right."

Liliana nodded. "I'll do that then," she said with a pleased smile. "With the understanding that it's my signature scent, so I'd expect it to remain just for me and not sold to others?"

She figured Nell would have been leaning that way anyway, but it was good to be clear about these things in advance.

"Of course," Nell said. "I can do lotions and an essential oil, and even a bath bomb if you'd like, and I won't use your scent for anyone else."

A nod and another smile. "Thank you, Nell," she said, already planning to bring one of her mostly-empty perfume bottles for Nell.

And then paused just as she was turning to leave. "Do you have an herbal, little woods witch?"

"An herbal?" Nell asked curiously. "I'm not sure what you mean by that."

"A book," she said. "Something like a botanist's diary and a recipe book in one."

"I don't really have anything very fancy," Nell said, "But I do keep notes on how I make everything."

Liliana nodded, a quick smile flickering across her face. "Good to know. A pleasure to meet you, Nell," she said and slipped through the door and back into the street.

"You as well," Nell managed before Liliana had completely slipped away. She smiled to herself as she cleared up the tea things. A very nice visit, she thought.
