Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

It had been a while since anything weird had happened in the warehouse and at this point it was actually making Rey nervous/suspicious. It was one of the days where she brought one of the texts she'd gotten into the least to see if there was anything she should be learning, and she wasn't really concentrating because she was expecting something to happen.

The woodchucks were just going about their days, suspiciously not chucking wood at her.

"True. And now it's how I really get better," she said.

Anakin nodded. "Something else you'll need to learn as a Master: how to hold your own strength back to teach your Padawan."

"That's... something to keep in mind. Especially when I don't have a lot of real experience."

And when she did have to fight someone she acted feral.

"Stick with the practice lightsabers," Anakin said, "at least at the beginning. We can practice that, too."

"For training other people? Or getting me more experience?" she asked.

"A little bit of both," Anakin said.

"Thank you," she said. "It's weird sometimes to be learning while also learning how to train."

Anakin nodded. "Think of it as being a conduit and passing along what you know."

"Easier said than done," she admitted.

"Oh, always," Anakin agreed. "That's also very Jedi."

"Apparently I excel at that."

She was joking, but no, really.

Anakin smiled again. "I've noticed that."

"I'm trying to be better about the doubt part," she said.

"I've heard it could take some time," Anakin said. "I never had doubts, which was its own problem."

"Some doubts are probably good," she reasoned. "If we could reach a happy medium that'd be great."

Anakin nodded. "It's what we're all hoping for. Some of us work at it harder than others."

Anakin didn't work at it at all.
