Atlas Gym; Tuesday [10/10].
There was a gremlin on one of the treadmills that morning that was really hitting it pretty hard, and, after an hour or so, Gladio's natural inclination to be impressed with the little guy's dedication and constitution had started to fade into some genuine concern, which was a good thing, too, because that was how they discovered that the treadmill that gremlin had been using was broken and had been stuck at maximum speed and wouldn't even turn off until unplugged.
Which was why the gremlin was going to need some time lying down on the mats to catch his breath and regret all of his life decisions for a while once they managed to get the thing stopped, placed the OUT OF ORDER sign on it, and Gladio added calling the tech in to have a look at it later.
And then that just left everyone with the question of why the gremlin didn't just get off the treadmill and a debate about whether or not that kind of dedication was admirable, stupid, or some combination of both.
Atlas is open!

"So far so good," Nell said with a grin. "Beautiful day, isn't it?"
Definitely the coming workout that was making her so cheerful.

"Forms," she said after a moment. "And maybe some yoga after to cool down? You could join me if you wanted."
no subject
"I could probably go for a little work on some forms," Gladio decided, without even needing to thin about it. "Though if the tech shows up for the treadmills, I'll have to break to get that straightened out."

Once upon a time, that honor would just have been handed over to Ignis, but now he had gym minions.

No joking at all this time.

"Yeah, okay, fine," he acquiesced, giving her a small, appreciative kind of smile. "You do got me there.

So she was there, she was looking cute, and she was hitting some weights before discovering that whatever was wrong with the treadmills might be spreading, because hers would eventually need to be unplugged, too.
"Ohmygod," she realized, "what if they're, like, possessed?"
Sure, it was probably just a electric error in the machinery, but, like, also, this island/i>, soooo....

"Pretty sure," he said, because, let's face it, he had to, "that's not the kind of exorcising I expected to have in my gym this week..."
no subject
"Morning, Gladio. Can you think of something... easy for me to do today?"
The possessed treadmills, for example, seemed like a very bad idea.
no subject
"Definitely something light," he said. "Small weights or...well, I'd suggest a light treadmill session, but they've been acting up today. Rowers can be low key, easy to pace...you think you're feeling up to it?"
no subject
Tired wasn't enough of a word but it would work for now.
"I thought it might be better to try and do something though, instead of just sitting."

"Slowly. I could try the rowing. I'll stop. If I need to."
Or if someone started yelling at him about it.

"I don't want to make things worse," Stark told him as he turned slowly in the direction of the rowing machines.
no subject
"Yeah," he agreed, "worse is definitely something you're gonna want to avoid."
Worse would definitely inspiring yelling. And a lot of hands thrown up in the air.

Not that he'd been obsessing over having made something worse this weekend or anything. Obviously.
"So I'll be careful and I'll be slow and I'll make sure I drink water."
