Summer had thought she was mentally prepared for what she was going to be dealing with at work today, but she was having doubts, and she was definitely side-eying Tino the whole time, because he seemed to be enjoying this way too much, and she was definitely going to probably pin the blame on everything that was happening this week on his because, hey, why not?

But if you thought the place being more of a theme restaurant that a zombie karaoke bar was going to stop Summer from bringing in some jello and still putting up a specials board, then you were sorely mistaken.

Because we are all pretending like this is normal, right? Right? Just...totally normal, you are not here for the Jimmy Buffet theme, you are here for jello and the cute bartender, like usual.

"I don't like it," Stark said as he walked in. "It's not right. But you're here. You're right."

He couldn't sit in his usual spot because the bar was all wrong but he was going for a stool as close to Summer as he could get.

"I usually am," Summer said, with a nod, because it always bore repeating, and she gave Stark an apologetic smile, as if she could do anything to have improved their current circumstances. "But..."

Expertly, she set out a row of jello shots and shoved them forward toward him. "We still have jello, because like I'm going to be behind a bar on a Wednesday and not have jello."

"Peanut butter salad sounds interesting," Stark said. He was blissfully oblivious to what horrors might await him.

"I'm glad you're here. With jello."

He reached past the shots for her hand.

One might think that, when Summer met Stark's offered hand with her own and gave it a small squeeze and gave him a gentle smile in response, it might have been for comfort in regards to the situation, but, no.

It was definitely for what was just about to enter her mouth, with unabashed cheeriness.

"The peanut butter salad has green pepper, pimiento, and mayonnaise."

But, hey, at least she told him, right?

"Why?" Stark asked. "What did the peanut butter do to deserve that? I believe I'll skip that one. But I'll have the others."

At least this was normal!

See? Putting all that unnecessarily with jello and vodka was doing a great service for the island as a whole! Sticking it to the corporate man by pulling up weird ass recipes from nearly a hundred years ago and serving them....in a Margaritaville.

"The others are good," Summer assured him with a nod. "And maybe the peanut butter one won't seem so bad after them, either."

At the very least Summer was doing a great service to Stark by providing something familiar!

"It might not seem so bad if you get me drunk," Stark allowed. He offered a faintly teasing smile. "And I know that's a very important part of our relationship."

"I'm really good at it, too," Summer pointed out, proving her point by maybe adding another candy corn shot and giving it a not-so-subtle nudge forward across the bar toward the others. "Should I get you a margarita, too? Since we are in Margaritaville now, apparently?"

Only if you wanted him wasted away again, Summer.

"Will you help me home if I need it?" That was a yes to the drink.

Stark smiled at her and reached for one of the candy corn shots.

No? No, you're actually here for the restaurant? Okay, but Summer is totally judging your life choices as you're lead to the tables after waiting at the bar for one to clear up.

This is a rush job because I need to flee out the door in like three minutes, lol
