It was November. This was not a drill. This was, in fact, Raiden, at the counter already working on his Thanksgiving menu. He knew he tended to go overboard, and, well, his brothers were large and active men; even with him and Gray heading back to Fandom after the holiday the food would get eaten, but there were kitchen logistics and timing issues to be considered that meant he really did have to come up with an answer to impossible questions like, "How many kinds of pie is too many kinds of pie?"

In the meantime, he continued to mourn Waffle House in his own way: through breakfast pizza.
