Fix & Clean- Thursday

Another week had gone by and that meant another week closer to the major holidays coming up. While he wasn't expecting a huge rush for Thanksgiving he was bracing for a rush of orders before Christmas. There was a small Black Friday sale posted up on his online shop because evidently, that was a thing these days? He really didn't have a clue to be honest.

But the lul before the storm was fine as he had plenty to keep busy working on with all of the shelves and stands and displays. So with the door open, the coffee pot full, and projects laid out on the work tables, Dwight settled down to start the day's work.


The shop was open!

"How's Black Friday work?" Miguel asked, heading straight for the coffee pot. "You have a sale on black furniture?"

[alwaysonguard]

"Not quite... but that is a possibility thinking about it..." Dwight said with a laugh. "No it's some big thing that somehow got popular where stores and all offer ridiculous sales on stuff and people tend to go crazy buying stuff. I really don't understand it myself. And I don't think I overcharge for things and I'm going to inflate prices just to offer a 'big discount' but... slapping the words 'Black Friday Sale' on things does seem to get people's attention at least" he admitted with a shrug.

Miguel gave him a look. "I do actually know what it is. I've been here how many years?" He shrugged and poured himself coffee, slurping it. "Nothing wrong with black furniture, though. Make it a thing."

"Hey never know with you" Dwight said with a shrug. "But I do have some Ebony in stock, might be enough to make an end table or something small. Can see if it's something that gets popular."

"Line it with leather, I know a customer."

[alwaysonguard]

"You got it- leather lined it is" Dwight said with a grin. "Will let ya know when it's ready. Care to clue me in to who it is?"

Miguel gave him a look. "Who do I know who's a fan of leather and can always use a new cabinet?"

"Ah good point. Will make sure it's suited for all manner of sharp pointy instruments of death and destruction then."
