Last week at the store had been so absolutely crazy that Summer couldn't even remember coming in last Monday, although she would swear that she had, so it was nice to see that things had sort of settled back down into normal.

Well, normal for them, actually.

Summer had been a little worried, because, in scoping out what she might possibly have to deal with when she came in today, she saw it was Pins and Needles Day and was expecting that she'd have to come in and walk all over them, not even metaphorically!, all day, but, thankfully, Apu went a much different, much better route by focusing on Turtle Adoption Day.

No, the turtle himself wasn't up for adoption, but there was plenty of signage and information about turtle conservationism and how to donate money to causes and sponsorships for other turtles, all additionally celebrated with an additional 25% off anything to do with turtles!

Yes, that included Turtle Wax and tortoiseshell glasses!
