Turtle & Canary; Friday [12/08].

Prompto was feeling pretty reluctant about venturing out to work today, you know, what with the mistletoe and all, but he was actually pretty relieved to find out that Apu had already taken care of that before he even got there. Because, well, Apu liked the idea of being bullied into kissing his coworkers just about as much as Prompto did, which was not at all, and so he'd presented the mistletoe with a very official seeming document about workplace harassments directly from HR (which was, he was pretty sure, just Summer, and he was also pretty sure Summer had written it up with Shunsui in mind, but it was nice to know that it could extend to other uses, like pushy plants!) and that....seemed to work? For now?

They were definitely keeping a good amount of distance between them throughout the day, but they tended to just do that anyway, regardless of spreading forced holiday cheer.

It helped that Apu mostly just seemed interest in doing crossword puzzles today, anyway.

When Liz's text came in, Prompto had been eyeing a sprig of mistletoe that had made camp on the counter, and he'd been trying to determine if it was preparing to pounce on any unsuspecting customers, or plotting to make something happen between the turtle and the canary.

So the distraction was very welcome.

oh I can only imagine how awkward it is, at least it’s not too much longer right??? And we’re all good here, Noctra hasn’t been too bad today and I did get invited to a spa day with Lillanna’s invited me on a spa day for a couple of hrs next with Annie and Nell, thinking of taking her up on that :)

Thinking of taking her up on it! Prompto couldn't imagine not just immediately jumping on that! Hell, he was thinking that if Liz didn't want to go, he'd happily take her place!

Liz smiled as she read the text and then sent back alright I'll take her up on it, it will be good to catch up with everyone and talk to Annie about babies :)
