New Years Eve Party! - Caritas, Sunday
Well, Tino had contacted Jane that morning, claiming that Kitty had put her in charge of a New Years Eve party at the bar with zero evidence to back it up. But, since it wasn't as though Jane had any plans for the holiday beyond watch a ball drop and feel nostalgic for Thor past things, here she was, putting up sparkly decorations with a smug looking Tino.
Welcome 2024!
It was just a little crooked, but that was on Tino's end of things.
Specials
Pointsetta
Cranberry-Aperol Spritz
Apple Cider Mimosa
French 75

Hopefully it would go with whatever Summer chose to wear.
"One of the spritzes please," he said to whichever bartender was closer at the time.

But you had to start somewhere, and on the east coast, really, and so what better place for that than Caritas?
Where she could also get herself a Summer Smith, as a nice reminder of just how far she'd come along, and look forward to what might lie ahead. It was symbolic!
(But don't worry, Jane, she was definitely going to order that from Tino so you weren't subjected to the horrors of what a seventeen-year-old Summer Smith thought made for a good drink....)

"Now I feel underdressed," Jane said, tugging on her cape. Her totally normal cape.

"That is an odd cup, darling," Liliana noted, stepping up to the bar to order herself another drink - a poinsettia this time, since she'd already tried the French 75. "Does your drink require it?"
Like how you drank champagne out of flutes and red and white wines required differently-shaped glasses to breathe.

creepymansion in some kind of impromptu party for the holiday and so had been thrilled when radio had announced that one was being held at Caritas instead. All the socialization without any of the work and it meant that she and Ignis could stop being around people whenever they wished.Truly, a banner day for Lilianas.
She swanned into Caritas on Ignis' arm, wearing a gown newly commissioned for the occasion (well, newly commissioned for any occasion, of which this one happened to be the first), already brimming with effervescent cheer. Look, her last week had been Christmas, followed by an exquisite evening out, and now another party!
It was, as per usual, good to be Liliana Vess right now.
"Of all the drinks I don't recognize, I don't recognize a French 75 the most," she said gaily. "So let's start there."
