So today was Curling is Cool Day, apparently, which meant that the freezer aisle had been converted into Apu's best attempts at a makeshift curling rink, and this was one that Prompto actually might have been a little sad he couldn't participate in more since he needed to stick around and man the register. Although the door did chime when opened, so maybe he could steal away and try it a little bit between customers?

Of course, considering how much of Apu's days were spent sweeping, the guy was insanely good at this, so it was definitely an experience! But he also gloated about it a lot, so Prompto was actually going to put most of his focus into setting up displays toward the front for Travel Necessities on sale for anyone looking to prep for the school trip next week.

And, as always, Prompto grinned with the satisfaction of that message landing right about when he thought it would (boy, wasn't it going to be a whole thing of worrying ans flailing if some lunch passed by without a text??), and picked up his phone to answer back.

we’re all good here 🥰🥰🥰, Noctra’s been busy playing all morning. and then Liz sent over a few photos of Noctra playing and the curling must be interesting to watch, I’m guessing it’s some type of curling holiday?

There was a delay in Prompto's response, then, as he fondly ans maybe a little wistfully looked through the photos Liz had sent, chuckling faintly and definitely looking forward to coming home and seeing them again.
