With what felt like just about everyone in town out of town, Annie was anticipating a pretty slow night at work.
Good thing she'd brought a bunch of baby pictures to show Tiny to pass the time!
"Look, see," she was telling him, holding up her phone as he just about power-walked to the back. "I got these little discs that say '4 Months' on them, for pictures in a couple da -- fine, never mind."
Honestly, as much as she loved her kids and wanted to show them off -- the few hours she had here at her shift were a welcome reprieve at the moment, even if it would be better if she could have slept during them. But still. She'd take the break.
