Atlas Gym; Tuesday [03/05].
As short-lived as his time with the impressive gym facilities at the first gym had been, it had been more than enough to inspire Gladio a little bit to consider some new features for the gym, and he'd spent a little bit of time over the past few days doing some measurements and consulting with the staff with some of his ideas, and now he was one the actual administrative side of things, with a lot more time in the office than he usually spent, looking up some things, doing some price comparisons, maybe even making a few calls.
And all that desk jockeying and managerial stuff made him all the more interested in doing a little work on the floor when he took a break to make his rounds and see how everything was going, really. Which just made the motivational poster of the week promoting a healthy "lift/life balance" all the more fitting, really.
Atlas is open!

Because, you know, branding never hurt, and it was shiny! So that was kind of space-y, right? Whatever, she looked cute and on point, and that was all that mattered.
Well, okay, the working out also mattered, too, but that part went without saying.

"So," he said, "you wanna know what I've been working on here since we got back, or do you wanna wait for it to be a surprise?"+

Curiosity won out.
"I'd like to know," she said finally.

"So," he said, "remember the gym at the first hotel we were at? With the windows all around and the equipment facing toward 'em to enjoy the view while you work out?"

"Now, obviously," he warned het, "I can't do much with windows except maybe out front, and it's not much of a view, anyway. But I might be able to do something with some TV screens to maybe do a decent imitation. Or figure out some sort of holosuite thing for a few machines. So we might not be able to bike or jog through the mountains all the time, but maybe we can kinda make it seem like you are..."

"Probably not as good as your idea with all the plushies," he admitted, "but we can't all be you."

So after his classes were done for the day he headed in to the gym planning on lifting. It seemed like a good way to distract himself from... everything.

"Hey, Stark. How's it going this week?"

"Pretty good," he said, "thanks. You do okay with all that stuff that happened during the trip?"

"I did," he said after just a slight hesitation. "I would have preferred the original trip but it was mostly fine. Did you?"
