Monday: Covent Garden Flowers
Things were going along fairly well at the flower shop until Nell got a delivery of flowers and a group of bunnies followed the person into the store. Nell shooed the man, who was looking at her in a most uncomfortable way, out of the store and tried to herd the bunnies out as well.
She was mostly successful, but the pollen lingered, leaving her flustered and unsettled. The last times she'd been around for pollen week she hadn't really understood how it had made her feel, but this time she did. Which was why she was considering closing up early and going home to see if Gladio might be there.

And it didn't take much for him to play out (and with incredibly vivid imagination) how the rest of his usual Monday might play out, which is why instead of class, instead of his stop at Turtle & Canary, he was just heading straight into Covent Garden.
Shirt off, hair loose, half-cocked grin. The full nine yards as he made his way over to the counter, leaned forward with one hand on it as he lifted his chin and hit Nell with a, "Hey. You wanna get outta here?"
What a difference from the guy who'd promptly shirted up and removed himself to his office when she showed up the last this happened, indeed.

"Yep," she said as she leaned across the counter and kissed him firmly. "I absolutely do."
If she didn't just drag him into the back room first.

"I think," he suggested, when finally coming up for air, grinning still as his forehead touched Nell's, "we should probably call tonight off, too."
Somehow,he didn't think there'd be much complaining about it from their usual guests...

"M'not taking time to text all of those'uns," she said as she came up for air briefly. Another long kiss. "They'uns can figure it out for themselves." More kissing. "We'll just lock the doors."

Those drifting kisses returned to her mouth.
"Next week."
A little bit more, and then he was drawing back with a grin and a gentle hand pushing back a stray hair behind her ear.
"So, what'ya need to do to get this place closed up real quick?"
no subject
"Need to lock the door," kisses, "turn off the lights," kisses, "and that's really it."
And get Nell off the counter, though undoubtedly Gladio could handle carrying her if necessary. How far was Covent Gardens from home again?
