Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

A Jedi walked into a warehouse.

And quickly put her foot into the quicksand that had been moved to right in front of the door. Luckily it www only one foot and a set of ungraceful arm movements were able to right her so she could step back. Was this Anakin or the denizens of the warehouse? Hmm.

[Open! Mind the gap.]

Anakin came in an hopped over the quicksand without looking, so that was probably not a good sign about who moved it, huh?

"Rey?"

"What did you do to the floor?"

Hi, Anakin. Rey was cleaning off her boot.

"I'm fixing things!" Anakin said like moving a quicksand pit was a very normal thing to do during the week.

[thatwaslucky]

"You know someone innocent is going to fall into that," Rey warned, like anyone else ever came in here.

[sith_happened]

"They'll probably be fine," Anakin declared based on nothing.

[thatwaslucky]

"If anyone gets hurt, I'm not taking the blame." Again, no one came in here.

[sith_happened]

"Oh, I wouldn't expect you to," Anakin said, grinning.

[thatwaslucky]

"Okay," she said. "What else have you changed?"

[sith_happened]

"There's a few surprises," Anakin said.

"Is it still in progress?" Rey checked.

[sith_happened]

"Oh, very much still in progress," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"How much left do you have to do?" she asked. How much did she have to look forward to that wasn't doorway quicksand?

[sith_happened]

Anakin glanced around. "Probably another week's worth."

[thatwaslucky]

"Okay," she said slowly. "So no course this week to avoid spoilers."

[sith_happened]

"I can try to get it finished by Friday," Anakin said.

By hiding in here all of Wednesday, maybe.

[thatwaslucky]

"Good to know," she said, nodding. "Because I'm doing it on Friday."

She loved new course days. Not quicksand in front of the door days, but she'd get used to that.

Anakin grinned. "I work best under pressure."

[thatwaslucky]

"Can you have it done by Sunday?" Rey joked.

[sith_happened]

Anakin laughed. "Why? Do you have a date?"

[thatwaslucky]

"No, just wanted to see what you'd do under two days' pressure," she said. "This would be a very boring date for most people."

[sith_happened]

"Well, not me, but I've been told I'm strange."

[thatwaslucky]

"No stranger than me there," she said. "Though not many people could keep up with me on this for that to work."

[sith_happened]

Anakin grinned. "Well, that's why they aren't invited."

[thatwaslucky]

"I have invited some people before," she said. "Only two people have ever tried it."

And that was before weather and gravity controls.

Anakin grinned. "Did they like it?"

[thatwaslucky]

"Annie fell in the quicksand. Yasha actually didn't do terribly," Rey said.

[sith_happened]

"Well, that's what the quicksand is for," Anakin said.

[thatwaslucky]

"Which hasn't been an issue for me for a long time."

Though for all her complaining, the door plus the quicksand was going to require some skill, at least for a while.

"That's why I moved it," Anakin said with a grin.

[thatwaslucky]

"Yeah," she said with a little glare towards the door. "At least it should set up some cool entrances."

"Belatedly warning people as they pull themselves out will always be funny," Anakin assured her.

[thatwaslucky]

"Is that the real reason you did this?" Rey checked.

[sith_happened]

"It's not the only reason," Anakin said quickly.

[thatwaslucky]

"So basically yes."

She knew you!

[sith_happened]

"Basically yes," Anakin agreed.

[thatwaslucky]

"At least you're honest."

With some pushing.

[sith_happened]

Anakin laughed. "With some pushing, yes."
