Moobyland, Tuesday Evening
Most of the time, the portal lag wasn't so bad. You got used to it, going back and forth as much as Atton did. Except usually he didn't bounce around the same places this often in the same, relatively short timeframe. And now his head hurt.
He'd almost considered going to the Devil's Nest, before remembering that at his age, alcohol wasn't going to fix the pounding in his head. So he took a different turn and wound up... here.
To the place where no vegetables were allowed.
He stood inside, squinting up at the menu for entirely too long. "Look, can I just have something with grease on it? I don't care what. Just slather grease on a bun and give that to me if that's on the menu."
It was a day.

So she half-bounced in through the door, then stopped when she saw who else was there.
"Oh, look who it is!"

"Ugh, I miss the room service so much."

Because this was serious. Of course, it would also pass in like ten seconds, but it was serious in the moment.

See, the serious was already passing, for another train of thought to take its place.
"Dunno where I would go, but - somewhere!"

Just why, Atton. Why a world without shrimp? Surely you knew the answer!
no subject
He didn't know.

Harley did not look like she thought that made any sense, at all.
"That seems like overkill, and trust me, I know overkill."

No, but enjoy that outrageous pronunciation of 'problem', Atton. Her hand had already dropped again.
"Anyway, how many slices of cheese do you think they let you get away with in your burger here?"

"You think I've got the power of puppy dog eyes?" she asked. "Really?"

...Oh, right, she should actually order something. Turning towards the counter now.
