Town Hall, Saturday Morning

"This," Jesse sighed, looking up at Margo with serious eyes, "Is going to mean so much paperwork."

The Magician rolled her eye, and placed her hand flat down on the desk. "Yeah, yeah, we can deal with the bureaucracy later," she said. "Well. You can. I plan to spend the rest of next week at Theodoric's."

Jesse ran her fingers along her hairline, and... reached for the microphone that connected the island-wide PA-system with the radio. She leaned in.

"Hi, Fandom? This is Jesse Faden speaking. Uh. The mayor. I know we're dealing with an invasion situation right now, and in order to fix it, we need some creative problem-solvers with good, uh, creative skills to come over to Town Hall right now, okay?"

Beat.

"Apparently we have to write our way out of this one. Or macramé. Any talent will do, honestly."

"We could warn them ahead of time if we know who it'll be," Lana said. "Or we could just be subtle. Nothing intrusive."

"I don't think they're all coming here," Anakin said. "I read the radio this morning and everyone seems to be handling problems as they come across them."

Lana nodded. "Subtle it is, then. 'So-and-so found that extra bit of strength they needed'?"

Anakin nodded. "But let them find it inside themselves. I've been a battery for an invasion before and ended up locked inside an underground prison powering the entire island. I don't like repeating that feeling."

"We should definitely avoid that," Lana agreed. "But the Force is everywhere, after all. All we need to do is...bridge the gap and let them find it in themselves, as it were."
