Rey's warehouse- Friday afternoon

Last week a boulder had gone through the roof of the warehouse, which meant training was now roofing. Did Anakin or Rey know how to roof? No. Were they going to call someone? Absolutely not, shut up, Rey had grown up figuring stuff like this out.

There was a tarp ready in case of weather but Rey had taken it down in order to climb up and attach sheet metal to a ceiling. As you do. Totally normal activity for a Friday.

"If I have to catch one more woodchuck today," Anakin griped, frowning down at the hole.

"Just repeat to yourself," she said, "we're almost done."

They were not. They were so not.

"As soon as we find more parts."

"Like a roof thing."

Technical term. They were clearly amazing at this.

Rey frowned up at him. "Do you mean sheet metal or an actual roof?"

"Are they not the same thing?"

"Not technically. You can use one to make the other..." she said, and ignore the noise as she nailed another part into place.

"I don't really remember what was on our roof in Tatooine," he admitted. "It was strong enough to withstand the sand storms."

"Do you know if it was metal or something else?" she asked.

"I want to say it was clay, but I didn't really pay attention," Anakin admitted.

"That would actually be good in that environment," she considered. "I had an old AT-AT. So metal was good, it's just that I never took that apart to see how it was done."

"I've taken an AT-AT apart, but I was using a lightsaber," Anakin said with a smile. "I wasn't checking for the engineering."

"What I have done," she said, "is take apart enough hulls to know what to do, it's just finding the supplies. It's much easier when you live on an old battle site."
