Was it....weird?....that Summer felt honestly proud to walk into Turtle & Canary that morning and find it all decorated and set up to celebrate Memorial Day, instead of some random-ass holiday like Cellophane Tape Day or Old-Time Piano Day? It was just nice to walk in and have normal sales and decorating schemes and it felt properly respectful, too, so that was nice.
Did she suspect, though, that as soon as she left early to hit up what she could of the barbecue that it would revert straight to Sunscreen Protection Day?
Yeah. Kinda.
But it was still nice while it lasted, and she was willing to give Apu props where they were due.
