Atlas Gym; Tuesday [06/04].
Every so often, Gladio would get some mail for the gym that involved advertisements for gym equipment or programs and flyers for new products that he, for the most part, regarded with a mild interest in case there was anything good in there, but, usually, he disregarded them and sent them into the recycling. What they had going for them right now seemed to work, so he wasn't looking to revolutionize anyone's workouts with the latest and greatest new technology that was basically glorified versions of what they already had.
But there was one flyer that seemed to have sparked a bit of discussion among the staff, one that suggested the bold strategy of replacing all the treadmills with people-sized hamster wheels.
"Or maybe," Sonja suggested, "they're just wheels for the giant hamster clientele."
There was...a pause.
"You know," Gladio had to admit, "I want to refuse that by saying we haven't got any giant hamsters, but it's Fandom, so that's just asking for me to put my foot right in my mouth, isn't it?"
"That one kid had a pretty big capybara," Sonja also pointed out.
"....I'll think about it," he said, saving the flyer from the bin and setting it aside, to a cheering approval from Sonja, and then they all went back to their business, and Gladio was going to try not to think about exactly why Sonja seemed so enthused about them getting giant hamster wheels in the first place...

The grin on his face, though, was probably a good indication that, whatever it was, wasn't anything serious or dire, though.

Not something bad, if his smile was any indication and it usually was. "Do you need me now?"

She shook her head. "The new running machines where it looks like you're running through a different landscape are okay, but it's bad enough that you run and don't get anywhere without being in an actual cage thing."

And so today Kamala started once again going through the set of exercises that Carol had given her.
And she was not enjoying it.

All the more reason to make sure to offer encouragement from her new friendly neighborhood beefslab.
So she'd get a nod at some point, a faint smile, and a "Doin' alright, there?"

Yeah, yeah, keep it up, Amicitia. Weren't you trying to encourage more people to work out more?
"Just getting started with all this?" he guessed.

She mustered enough energy to roll over on her back.
"It's fine. I'll get there."

He was reaching at least that second one down if she wanted to take it.

By not moving.

There was no limit or water guns, but, hey, it seemed like it would be a good motivator to help keep this pause from being the end of the workout.

Nell might be wearing long skirty pants, but she was in remarkably good shape.

Today was going to be a cardio day, he thought. Starting on a treadmill that was not a hamster wheel.

"Stark," Gladio greeted with the usual bro-nod. "How's it going?"

They had a raccoon brewery here. Cats making lasagna wasn't that weird.
"And... I'm glad you had a good weekend then. Hope was the fishing?"
Stark didn't think he'd ever caught a fish.
