Caritas; Wednesday [07/10].
Tino was telling Summer all about his weekend, which sounded enough like any other weekend that Tino would tell her about that she started to become increasingly uncertain as to whether or not, from what he was telling her, he had actually been affected by the weekend at all. She tried to ask some revealing questions to help her pin it down a little more, but to no avail. Each answer seemed as frustratingly vague and uncertain as the last.
So finally, she just straight up and asked how old he was now and how old he was during the weekend, to which he just gasped and got all offended that she would even ask him something like that, and then he gave her the cold shoulder for the rest of the shift.
Which, really, was Summer preferred state of being behind the bar, so it all kind of worked out, really.
Cocktail Special
Pink Gin Martini
Jello Specials
Black Sesame Pudding
White Russian
Blue Hawaiian
Red Velvet
Caritas is open!

Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"It seems like a really easy to lose control of yourself in public," Arden said carefully, thinking of how hard she had to work to keep her shields up and so tight that no one would look at her twice. "I accidentally act the fool enough sober. I don't think I need more help."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
At least until the secrecy and control were muscle memory, like they'd become for Remy. (And let's be real, having a mad scientist remove part of your brain that made things go out of control on the regular had also helped on that front. At least until an alternate version of himself manipulated him into going back in time and having that part put back in, anyway. . . .)
(Wait, what had he been saying?)
"Or at least keep them to a happy minimum."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Yeah," Arden said, though ahaha why would she, a completely normal teen, need to keep a tight rein on anything? She totally didn't, she was fine and normal and look over there, it's a distraction! "Maybe I'll add it to my list of youthful indiscretions to get over with early and then move on to having sense."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"That must be where I went wrong," he said cheerfully. "I shoulda made a list."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"You can't just fuck up by the seat of your pants, Remy," Arden chided. "You have to be methodical and organized about it."
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
As opposed to Arden, who totally was a ball of serenity, as opposed to a panicking mess of anxiety.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Or, you know, as a mutant who still liked to walk the line between "hero" and "villain".
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
"Clearly I have to add 'spend time in New Orleans' to my list!"
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
He knew people at all the least touristy bars on Bourbon Street. And many of the most touristy ones, too.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
As though anyone had ever trusted Remy to run a field trip for the Institute. In any of its varied forms.
Re: The Bar - 07/10.
The disappointing thing was that is was probably true.

"Unless there are beignets on the line, in which case I make no promises."
